To grow well Cyclamen Plants need bright indirect light in the Winter.
Keep plants humid by standing on a saucer of pebbles but do not let the plant sit in water.
Cyclamen are a bulb plant and so will flower each year during winter.
You can keep them out in the garden till re-flowering, but lie the pots sideways, so they don't fill up with water and rot the tuber. There is some good info on growing cyclamens in NZ here >
