From Callas to Orientals, Lillies are an elegant and popular choice for wedding flowers. Lillies also blend well with roses, the different form is a superb contrasting
shape to give the bouquets a perfect look.

Whether you choose the simple and stylish calla lily,
available in white, shades of pink tones, the gorgeous
dark plum/aubergine colours (almost black!) and even
orange terracotta shades through to rusty red.

The other choice for a lily bouquet is to go for the fragrant
and delicious oriental lillies, from pure
white casablanca lillies, pale pink "La Reve", to hot pink stargazer
lillies, you will achieve a stylish and
stunning bridal bouquet.
1) Do be aware that Oriental Lillies - Casablanca Stargazer etc are highly allergenic! They have a very strong (but beautiful) perfume and this can affect Brides (and grooms) who suffer from hayfever. Itchy red eyes are not a good look for your special day!
2) We ALWAYS remove the yellow stamens from these lillies - You definately do not want pollen stains on your gown - however keep in mind that some lilly buds may "crack" open during the day in the heat, BUT the pollen has not yet "fluffed up" and will not stain.
3) Are Lillies funeral Flowers? - Historically yes, the lily is often interpreted as a symbol of the innocence that has been restored to the soul of the departed. A white stargazer lily symbolizes sympathy and any type of white lily expresses majesty and purity.... However, Lillies are an elegant, sophisticated bloom, and there is no other flower like them in terms of simplistic beauty - they are a stylish, modern choice and very, very popular.

Tania's request was for as little flowers as possible! We designed a wand bouquet of 3 perfect Calla Lillies with bear grass, silver sprayed willow and added some tiny crystal details to the willow and bound the bouquet with a silver metal cuff - modern, simple and definately not flowery!
